Visual Arts: First Friday

It is a tradition among Art Galleries to hold Openings on the First Friday of every Month. Anyone feel like stepping out and seeing a few of them?

I'll organize the first couple, then someone can take it over.

Is there usually a price attached, or free viewings with the oportunity to purchase? Either way, I'd be interested in going.

Usually, there is an entry fee. Unless it is a free showing. Sometimes the museum does this, not sure about art galleries in CO......

Most of the galleries are free. There is a free bus for the Godlen Triangle in downtown Denver on first Fridays.

Unless we go to a museum, there is no cover at any gallery, and museums are crud for FF.
Some of the places we could go would be the Golden Triangle, the Santa Fe Art District, of The Tennyson Galleries, all of wich are very cool FF venues. I recomend Santa Fe for amount of Galleries, but the crowd tends to be huge. the Golden Triangle is more spread out, and has a really high quality of show.
